Senior Business Support Officer - Enablement and Support Services

As a Senior Business Support Officer for Enablement and Support Services you will be working directly with the Senior Managers across the services, ensuring that resources within Business Support are utilised to best meet the needs of the business.

Providing supervision and support to the various Business Support and Administration Functions across the county, developing and supporting the performance reporting function, client databases and shared work areas and responding to system business continuity issues.

You will need to have excellent ICT literacy and an aptitude for using bespoke software in line with policy and legislation. Knowledge and understanding of the client databases used by Kent County Council would also be of benefit to the person in this role.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Ability to think differently to innovatively problem solve
  • Flexible in their approach and ready to embrace new ways of working

The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible
manner at various times of the day is essential. You should note that public
transport is rarely a viable option as some rural areas of Kent often have limited public transport.
