Senior Administration Officer

Role Responsibility

We are seeking a Senior Administration Officer to provide a comprehensive level of administrative business support for the South Kent Coast and Thanet A Community Learning Disability team based in Hythe. The team is part of the Lifespan Pathway and the Learning Disability Alliance and provides support to adults aged 26 and over with Learning Disabilities and/or complex physical disabilities.

The role of the Senior Administration Officer is challenging, varied and exciting. The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and have the ability to undertake a wide range of administrative tasks unsupervised. You will need excellent communication skills and take a proactive approach in implementing new processes and systems. You will also have a good understanding of data protection and confidentiality.

You will be computer literate and able to develop, maintain and monitor office systems. This includes inputting, updating, modifying and retrieving data on Mosaic/PowerBi. You will be able to work well within a very busy team, prioritise your work and demonstrate flexibility. Taking minutes for complex meetings is an essential part of your role as is supervising and developing the administration team.
