Senior Administration Officer – Kent and Medway Safeguarding Adults Board 

An opportunity has arisen to provide senior, high level administrative support to the Kent and Medway Safeguarding Adults Board. This is an interesting and varied role, offering the opportunity to work with multiagency partners. 

We are seeking an experienced, professional and motivated individual to fill this challenging and rewarding position. To be successful you will need to;   

  • be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams; 

  • be diligent and well organised;  

  • have an eye for details and possess a high standard of verbal, minute taking and literacy skills.

You will initially be working from home, due to COVID-19 restrictions using IT equipment provided, but there may be a mixture of office/home working subject to business needs and demands.  You may be required to travel across the county at different times to attend and assist at meetings and events. 

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
