Senior Administration Assistant

Role Responsibility

The Kent Community Learning Disability service are seeking to recruit a motivated administrator to support one of our area teams in ensuring that adults with a learning disability across Kent are receiving the best package of support to promote independence and maintain wellbeing.

The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and be able to develop and maintain links with professionals and service providers. This is a customer facing role and will require the successful applicant to have a fluency in English.

You must have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and have the ability to maintain, monitor and update a complex Excel spreadsheet. You will also have the ability to work to specified and targeted deadlines.

You will need to take a proactive approach to implementing new processes and systems. You will also have a good understanding of data protection and confidentiality.

Full training and support will be given to the successful applicant and you will also receive regular supervision.

As part of our Staff Care Package, we offer an excellent internal training programme and external training opportunities and actively seek to support employees to develop their skills. 

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
