Schools Resource Directory Project Officer

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and committed SEND Schools Resource Directory Project Officer to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) service. This is a fixed term (or temporary) 6 month contract

In this role, you will support the development of a number of projects that strengthen the offer of training and resources available to schools and early years settings across Kent,

Your role will involve working closely with key internal stakeholders and would suit someone who is highly organised with the ability to prioritise work under pressure, has a keen eye for detail and works collaboratively with good communication skills.

You will be help ensure that there is consistency in the information being published across resources, including the Kent Education Learning and Skills Information (Kelsi) website, Schools’ Resource Directory and SEND Handbook

This post is considered by Kent County Council to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person.
