Research, Innovation and Improvement (RI&I) Project Facilitator

Role Responsibility

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Research and Innovation Project Facilitator to join our research active Public Health Team.

You will be involved in planning, co-ordination, implementation, and expansion of the Kent County Council research portfolio. In particular you will support staff in developing their ideas into a high-quality research projects. This will include literature search, protocol and document drafting, identifying and applying for funding, liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced researcher who is competent in developing research protocols and managing associated workload. Applicants should be flexible and self-motivated with enthusiasm and willingness to learn, ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication, time management skills and ability to organise, prioritise and coordinate work of self and others.

It is 12 months fixed term contract with possibility of extension. The Council welcomes secondments from external organisations. Flexible working and working from home. 

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
