An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Bexley Register Officer as a Registration Officer delivering the Registration Service to the highest standard.
This involves undertaking birth, death and legal preliminary appointments and conducting/registering marriage, civil partnership and citizenship ceremonies.
The successful applicant will have sound judgement, good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and work well within a team.
The post is a 37 hours per week position which includes being on a rota for weekend working.
Interviews will be held on the 2nd August 2022.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification
