Role Responsibility

We are looking for motivated, experienced professionals who are committed to working in an integrated team and ready to embrace new ways of working, to help further shape our services and make a difference every day.

As a Registered Practitioner you will be working with people over the age of 18 with a diverse range of care and support needs. You will manage a dynamic caseload requiring complex assessment and on-going support. This is to facilitate achieving improved outcomes and promoting independent living for the service user working alongside service providers.

Through excellent opportunities for training and development, including a comprehensive induction, you will receive the support you need and recognition for your good work.

Occasionally you will be expected to work outside normal office hours and at weekends to optimise support to service users and provide a responsive, seamless and multi-disciplinary approach.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring service and a relevant professional qualification (Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy) as well as up to date registration with the appropriate professional body.

We offer the following:-

- Full induction and comprehensive professional learning and development

- Pay grade KR9-KR10 depending on experience

- Annual leave allowance of 28 to 30 days depending on grade and experience

- Golden Hello of £2,000 one-off payment on starting employment subject to meeting criteria
