Refugee Resettlement Mobilisation and Implementation Officer

Role Responsibility

An exciting new opportunity for an experienced project officer to support the mobilisation and implementation of Kent County Council’s Refugee Resettlement Programme contracts. The postholder will use their project management experience to ensure  all necessary preparations are in place for smooth transfer of services by coordinating with various stakeholders, managing timelines, mitigating potential risks during the mobilisation period. 

As part of the implementation of contracts, the post holder will support the Refugee Resettlement Management Team to develop reporting mechanisms to monitor ongoing performance of suppliers against KPIs and key outcomes, identifying any gaps or areas for improvement.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification. 

This is a fixed term post up until 31 March 2026.
