Reducing Parental Conflict Coordinator
Role Responsibility
Kent and Medway Councils have a rare and exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to co-ordinate our Reducing Parental Conflict project (RPC), aimed at reducing the impact of inter-parental conflict on children.
This leadership role will ensure a consistent and reliable Kent and Medway service that delivers, with multi agency partners, a sustainable and evidence-based model of intervention. The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager who can lead two practitioners to achieve contractual targets, while managing the operational elements of the RPC programme across Kent and Medway.
Candidates will need to be excellent communicators across a wide range of audiences. They will ideally have experience of working with volunteers, a track record of robust performance management, have extensive knowledge and experience related to parental conflict, and able to accurately manage financial processes.
The post-holder will be required to work visibility across Kent and Medway and will have some flexibility to work from home. Please see full details within the job description and person specification.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
