Recruitment Co Ordinator
Role Responsibility
Kent Fostering Service has been looking after children in Kent for over 40 years. We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Fostering Recruitment Coordinator to join the most experienced fostering service in the county to help us demonstrate how we make a difference to the lives of Kent children. You will be proficient at using a range of marketing and recruitment techniques to generate leads to recruit prospective foster carers.
You will be responsible for driving an increase in the number of enquiries we receive from prospective foster carers by engaging with the wider local community, hosting and attending events; working closely with Kent Fostering Service Teams and the Kent County Council Communication Team to implement and coordinate the county’s marketing and recruitment plan.
Experience of managing social media accounts and website use are essential to this role. The Recruitment Coordinator will work with our existing foster carers to support recruitment campaigns and information events across the county.
We require a natural communicator who is passionate about changing children’s lives. Reporting to the Head of Fostering you will be an integral part of the Kent Fostering Service. You will be self-motivated, energetic, confident and creative, with a can-do and positive attitude. There will be some weekend and evening working to coordinate Information Events.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
