Public Research Co-ordinator
Role Responsibility
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Public Research Co-ordinator (PRC) to join our research-active Public Health Team.
Working in collaboration with the Clinical Research Network Kent Surrey and Sussex (CRN KSS), the PRC will liaise with the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller community to improve understanding of research and increase participation.
The PRC will act as a source of advice and guidance regarding research related activities for these communities. All relevant information and research related training will be provided.
We are looking for an individual experienced in working with the public and communities. An individual who can independently lead a project from conception to end, involving multiple agencies and stakeholders. All relevant information and research-related training will be provided.
It is a part time position (22.5hrs/week), 12 months fixed term contract. Secondments will be considered as will flexible working and working from home.
This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
