Project Coordinator

Role Responsibility

Fixed Term until 31/08/2025

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated and driven Project Coordinator within the i-THRIVE and Participation Team.

The team leads on a number of Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health partnership projects, working with KCC, NHS Kent and Medway, schools, young people, and external partners. The postholder will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Candidates must be highly organised, capable of prioritising tasks, and adapt at managing multiple demands on their time. Proficiency in administrative and office skills is required, along with the ability to utilise a variety of IT business applications.

Responsibilities include supporting the delivery of projects, which may also include planning, organising, and delivering events for the team. A significant aspect of the role involves using KCC's in-house finance systems; thus confidence and experience in financial tasks are essential. Team support and formal supervision will be available.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
