Programme Support Officer

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Support Officer to  join the Kent County Council’s Financial Hardship Programme. 

This is a fixed-term, full-time position until 31st March 2027, working in a hybrid format, with the base being Invicta House, Maidstone. As a team we are committed to providing a flexible approach to when, where and how our team work.

The role is to provide support to our engagement and operational activities, helping the programme on a number of high-profile projects and initiatives. This will involve administration and process driven tasks. Our projects and schemes are in place to support those in financial hardship, working to improve and support the lives of local residents.  

We are looking for someone with an organised and proactive approach, who would like to make a positive impact to our residents. Effective communication is essential for this role, regularly contacting residents and key stakeholders through phone, email and in person.

You should enjoy working as part of a team, but also have the capability of working independently whilst at home.
