  • Enthusiasm to promote excellent Social Work practice within statutory Adults and children’s Social Work

If the answer is yes: We would like to invite you as an experienced PEPS2 Practice Educator to apply to work with us within the Learning and Development team in KCC to support the delivery of the Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE) programme for newly qualified social workers (NQSWs).

This is an opportunity to make a positive difference to social workers right at the start of their career.  You will be delivering a structured training programme, across KCC’s childrens and adults services, that aligns to PCF Domains at the Newly Qualified Social Worker level ( ASYE ) and the Social Work post qualifying standards: knowledge and skills statements to support the NQSW’s to consolidate what they have learned whilst studying their degree and apply it to their practice.  In addition, you will provide support to NQSW’s through regular reflective discussions, advise on the evidence requirements for their ASYE portfolio and quality assure the portfolios through the internal moderation process  to ensure that the professional standards are being met.

This position is being offered on a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months.

Be registration as a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England.
