Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Role Responsibility

We’re recruiting adolescent practitioners to undertake a variety of support roles across Youth Justice, Early Help and Adolescent Social Work.  We’re keen to hear from resilient and flexible practitioners who are prepared to go the extra mile and work weekends, evening and holidays, when needed, to build relationships with adolescents and help manage the crises that they experience.

Whether you’re looking for full time, part time or sessional hours, we have opportunities for solution-focused people to join our teams in various locations across the county.  We offer excellent trauma, case formulation and contextual safeguarding training, and we’re developing clinical supervision to enhance our support to our valued workforce.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
