Permanent Relief Driver

Role Responsibility

Thanet Community Service, Minnis Community Hub, 19 Minnis Road, Birchington CT7 9SF supports people with learning disabilities to access activities and fully participate in their local community. We are looking for a permanent relief driver to join our transport team to work as and when required to cover for staff leave, sickness, training etc.

The successful candidate will have a PCV/minibus license and/or will have a full clean driving license, having passed their test prior to January 1^st, 1997, may have some formal qualifications relevant to the post e.g. NVQs or equivalent. Knowledge of the local Thanet area would be beneficial, as would some knowledge of the client group. The candidate would need to be available for morning and afternoon shifts Monday-Friday 8am-10.30am and 2.30pm-4.30pm and occasional extra hours between these times if required.
