Permanent Relief Care Worker

Role Responsibility

We are looking for hard-working, enthusiastic, and compassionate Care Workers for our fabulous care home situated in Tenterden. Our client's home is situated in the beautiful Kent countryside, on the outskirts of the village of Tenterden. We provide high quality care for up to 30 residents who come to us for short stay respite care and assessments periods.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• To provide support and guidance for residents according to their care plans/support plans in enabling them to maintain as much independence as practicable.

• To promote Privacy and Dignity at all times

• To ensure that you contribute, to the best of your ability, to the efficient running of the home and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the residents.

Requirements of the Role:

• Care-based experience, although full training with be provided.

• You must have the right to work in the UK

• A compassionate and caring personality

• The patience and understanding to help individuals.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a good command of spoken English, sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
