Performance and Analytics Manager (Evaluation)
Role Responsibility
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced evaluation expert looking for their next challenge. In this post you will lead the development of a new, dedicated evaluation function within the wider Kent Analytics service.
Working as part of the wider, multi-disciplinary analytics management team, you will lead a small team of evaluation specialists. You will use your excellent communication and influencing skills to take the lead in developing and embedding evaluation across the Council, finding solutions to the wide range of issues and barriers encountered by analysts seeking to implement evaluation projects.
You will have a flair for working with clients to scope and lead evaluation projects, have strong problem-solving skills, alongside significant practical experience of developing, managing and executing evaluative studies in a public sector environment, drawing on range of approaches. You should have strong technical skills covering both quantitative and qualitative research techniques, be flexible in your approach and able to advise clients on appropriate methodologies. You will be able to generate and communicate compelling insight, with the aim of enabling senior leaders to take decisions on services or the strategic direction that are evidenced-based.
