People Policy Adviser
Role Responsibility
Are you passionate about shaping people policies that drive change? We are looking for a knowledgeable and highly skilled People Policy Adviser to join our HR & OD team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of people policies that support Kent County Council’s strategic aims, align with our People Strategy and enhance the employee experience across the organisation.
As a subject matter expert on employment policies and terms and conditions, you will work closely with HR colleagues, senior leaders, and trade union representatives to ensure our policies are legally compliant, evidence-based, and reflect best practice. You will also manage projects confidently from start to finish ensuring collaboration and partnership working.
You will use your strong communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively, and apply your analytical skills to evaluate policy impact, ensuring outcomes are achieved and value for money is delivered.
Applicants should be CIPD qualified or equivalent, and have experience in HR & OD, including policy development and partnership working.
Interviews will be held on 17th July 2025.
