We currently have seven residential sites providing approximately 130 pitches for families across Kent, and have a small team dedicated to providing an excellent service to our residents. We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an organised and highly motivated individual to join our Service.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payments Officer to join our team, and complete all financial administration processes for the Service.  This will include allocating of payments to accounts and invoices, accurately and efficiently; undertaking complex investigations into resident accounts and payments made against invoices, and providing accurate and detailed breakdowns of individual accounts.

You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Service with monthly budget monitoring and forecasting, and for frequently interrogating the Suspense Account searching for payments, and liaising with external agencies (such as Housing Benefit and DWP Universal Credit) to ensure continuous payment of rent.

You will have experience of working in a finance or administrative role, with excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting errors and missing payments in a wide range of data.  You will have, or be willing to establish, a sound understanding of housing benefits and universal credits, and the processes completed to pay these.

This is a very rewarding and interesting role, where you will be part of a dedicated team that is adopting a new operating model and approach to service delivery.
