Partnership Officer - Community Engagement

Role Responsibility

The Kent Countryside Partnerships are seeking Casual Relief staff to help us deliver our nature-based community engagement work across Kent. If you have a passion for nature and the outdoors and enjoy sharing it with others, we'd love to hear from you. You will be working outdoors at countryside locations including Kent Country Parks and other green spaces, with work including running nature-themed birthday activities for children, assisting at school environmental education sessions and Forest Schools, running family events and nature trails, and community gardening days.

Project work will come up on an ad hoc basis and would include weekends, so we're looking for people who can be flexible about when they work. 

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
