PFI Contracts Manager

Role Responsibility

Kent County Council have an exciting opportunity for a PFI Contract Management role which is part of the Facilities Management Team based in Maidstone. 

KCC is one of the largest counties in the Country with a diverse property portfolio, including three school PFI contracts encompassing eleven schools with an estimated value in excess of £15m per annum plus two adult social care PFI contracts. 

You will lead on the management of the operational service to effectively manage the administration of Kent County Council’s PFI Contracts. This includes being responsible for the day-to-day interface, delivery and commissioning of services on all PFI activities relating to property management and that the relevant transactions are undertaken professionally, expediently in line with legislative and statutory requirements. 

Working collaboratively with the other Property teams and particularly with the Facilities Management and Strategy teams to ensure a one property approach is adopted. In addition, you will need to quickly establish good working relationships with other groups within the Infrastructure Directorate and with key internal and external stakeholders. 

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

As part of the interview process for this role you may be required to complete additional testing.
