PA/Secretary to Area Education Officer
Role Responsibility
An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, committed PA/Secretary to join the Children, Young People and Education Provision Planning team in East Kent.
You will be responsible for providing PA/administrative and secretarial support to the Area Education Officer and Area Schools Organisation Officer, to assist in the smooth running of the service and its day to day functioning. We are looking for an experienced administrator with a sound knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You will have the ability to work under their own initiative and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer care skills with a professional and confident telephone manner, whilst working under pressured timeframes.
You will need to be extremely organised and have excellent time management skills with the ability to take accurate and timely minutes of meetings.

Brook House, Whitstable is the primary location, however due to Covid-19 the role is currently home based with the occasional office working.
