Operational Support Coordinator
Role Responsibility
We currently have an exciting job opportunity for a Operational Support Coordinator to join our collaborative, supportive and customer-focused programme.
The role is fixed-term until 31st March 2025 and will support the Digital Inclusion & Capabilities workstream (Digital Kent) within Financial Hardship Programme, with opportunity to support other teams across the programme and potentially the organisation.
We would also welcome applications from candidates that would prefer reduced, part-time or term-time hours, flexible start and finish times or a job share. We would be more than happy to explore what's possible for the role. This is to be discussed at interview.
The role is to be based at Invicta House, Maidstone. However, as a programme our team are working flexibly; primarily working from home with occasional visits to our offices (we currently go in one to two days a week).
The post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
The role is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 2nd October 2023.
