NEET Support Worker

Role Responsibility

We are seeking a NEET support worker to join our service supporting 16-18 year old NEET (Not in Education Employment or Training) young people, the post holder will work in South Kent. 

You will work to reduce the number of young people who are NEET primarily in Ashford, where you will be the main contact/lead for NEET support. To achieve this you will provide targeted, individual and occasional group support for young people who are NEET .

Working with other colleagues you will support the tracking of young people aged 16-18 years old in your area to establish their education, employment or training status and record it on the Client Caseload Information System (CCIS). 

You will work with other teams within the Skills and Employability Service to ensure young people who are at risk of becoming NEET have a seamless experience using the service.

Although most of the work is still from home, increasingly more work is being done in the community, so the successful candidate will need to be able to travel easily throughout the area.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
