Minibus Driver / Escort

Role Responsibility

Dartford & Swanley Community Services supports individuals with learning disabilities to access activities and fully participate in their local community.

This role is subject to holding a full UK Driving Licence.

We are looking for a permanent part-time Minibus Driver / Escort to join our transport team to work 20 hrs per week 8 am-10 am & 2 pm-4 pm Monday to Friday, to drive and support individuals to travel into and home from the service.

The successful candidate will require basic written, numeric and good communication skills and work well in a team.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
