Marketing and Communications Officer - Kent Downs National Landscape

Role Responsibility

We are seeking a passionate Marketing and Communications Officer to join the Kent Downs National Landscape team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the promotion and protection of one of England's most beautiful rural and coastal landscapes, rich in heritage.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in enhancing public understanding and engagement with the Kent Downs National Landscape and the Cross Channel Geopark.

In this role, you will oversee and deliver a range of marketing and communication activities, supporting the team in raising awareness of our projects, programmes, and partnership work.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to implement strategies that engage key audiences, including local communities, visitors, volunteers, and stakeholders.

Your work will help ensure our communications are impactful, inclusive, and aligned with the Kent Downs Management Plan, as well as our organisational goals.

This role offers the chance to make a real difference in advocating for and promoting the beauty, heritage, and accessibility of the Kent Downs National Landscape.

 

You will be responsible for:

- Developing and delivering effective marketing and communications strategies

- Promoting our projects and programmes to maximise engagement and support

- Collaborating with the team to implement the Kent Downs Marketing and Communications Plan

- Ensuring all communications are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with our brand values
