Marketing Designer

Role Responsibility

We are looking for a brilliant marketing designer to join the Marketing and Resident Experience (MRX) team at Kent County Council. 

This is an exciting new role for our team and a great opportunity for a Marketing Designer to push us further and stretch your own creative skill set. 

As the MRX Marketing Designer you will create high impact concepts and develop them across multiple digital channels. 

You will lead on proposing new ideas and you should be comfortable creating on your own or with other members of our team. We’re looking for someone who thinks idea first and channel second.

You will be responsible for:
Proposing original marketing concepts
Collaborating with other creatives and content creators to write content and campaigns
Leading the design process to help inform strong briefs
 

About you
You love a good idea that cuts through.
You know how to craft a design brief and are able to direct others.
You have an excellent portfolio that showcases integrated creative across multiple channels.
You not only design but can write a cracking headline.
You can think big with small budgets.
You love to collaborate and being highly organised.

You have
Lots of enthusiasm and great ideas 
Extensive experience of creating original concepts
Confident presenting skills
Excellent Adobe Creative Cloud app skills
The ability to ask the questions that make for a great brief

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
