Management Information Officer

Role Responsibility

Fixed term: 12 months

The Management Information and Intelligence team, within the Children, Young People and Education directorate, are seeking to appoint a Management Information Officer for a 12 month period. The role provides an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills to develop their experience and knowledge of performance management and to help us continue to provide a high level of service. As part of the role, you will be required to extract, analyse and present data and information in appropriate formats for a range of customers including colleagues across Kent County Council, elected Members and partner organisations.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in, or willing to work towards, writing and building reports in Microsoft Power BI and SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio).
  • Have advanced excel skills and be competent at producing, analysing and summarising large and complex datasets, from a range of sources
  • Have excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely present data in easy-to-understand formats

 

This is an exciting role for a confident, pro-active and positive individual who has a high level of attention to detail. You will work closely with the rest of our team to develop your skills, share ideas and improve the availability and quality of management information within the Council.

Our team currently uses a hybrid model for flexible working which consists of 3 days working from home and 2 days working from Invicta House in Maidstone.
