Management Information Officer
Role Responsibility
The Children, Young People and Education Management Information team requires a Management Information Officer to become part of the Management Information & Intelligence team within the Children, Young People, and Education (CYPE) Directorate. Joining our high-performing team, you will play a crucial role in collecting and verifying data related to the government's Free Early Education entitlements for children aged 9 months – 4 years old, leading of Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) and Disability Access Fund (DAF) payments.
The role
The post requires the ability to undertake data cleaning on large datasets and processing high volumes of payments. Strong technical skills including Excel and Access are required to manage complex datasets and find solutions to challenging problems. An understanding of legislative and policy requirements in relation to the statutory early years framework and guidance is required.
The postholder will work independently as well as collaboratively, be highly organised and have excellent time management capabilities. The role requires the ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure, especially during peak periods. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to work effectively with a range of stakeholders including those within the CYPE directorate, other KCC directorates, Members, Internal and External Boards, its partners and education providers.

This post is hybrid working between home and Sessions House in Maidstone.
Selection testing will take place on 26th November 2025
