Management Information Assistant

Role Responsibility

We are looking for a Management Information Assistant to join a busy team who provide high quality support to professionals using our social care and early help case management systems.  The primary aim of the role is to ensure that data on children, young people and their families is accurate and is input in a timely manner.

Your main duties will include handling requests for support whilst liaising with system users.  You will also be expected to undertake data cleansing activities on our management information systems which will involve the input and correction of data.

This is a busy and challenging role so applicants will need to be highly organised and have excellent IT and communication skills. The successful applicant must be patient, conscientious, and flexible. You will need to be able to prioritise your workload and support others in the team where appropriate.  We are also looking for somebody who is self-motivated to continually improve the service we provide and who embraces change and the use of new technology.

You will be required to use our electronic case management systems and full training will be provided.  The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate an aptitude for accuracy in relation to data input, and in the review of management information reports and spreadsheets.  A good understanding of data protection policy and procedures will also be expected. 

The team has hybrid working arrangements, with opportunities to work from home and from Kent County Council office locations.
