Kent and Medway Parental Relationships Co-Ordinator

Role Responsibility

Kent & Medway Councils have a rare and exciting joint opportunity to recruit a Coordinator to develop and embed the Reducing Parental Conflict project (RPC) aimed at reducing the impact of inter-parental conflict on children and young people.

The role will ensure contractual targets are delivered though the development and delivery of evidence-based practice with multi agency key partners to ensuring a consistent and reliable countywide service is offered to meet local demands. The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager who will provide leadership for two practitioners and manage all operational elements of the RPC programme across Kent and Medway. The successful candidate will work closely with the Parenting Inclusion Coordinator from the Practice Development team.

The candidate will need to be an excellent communicator across a wide range of audiences ideally including volunteers, multi-agency partners and have good knowledge of children’s services, proven record in working to deadlines and experience of managing budgets and operations across multiple geographical areas.  

The post-holder will be expected to work from a range of different locations in Kent & Medway and will also be able to enjoy the flexibility of working from home.  The role will include some working out of office hours to deliver workshops and training.

This is a Fixed Term Contract ending in March 2024.
