Kent Safeguarding Children Multi-agency Partnership (KSCMP) System Performance Analyst

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Kent Safeguarding Children Multi-agency Partnership Business Support Team for a System Performance Analyst. The Team aids Kent’s statutory Safeguarding Partnership work together collaboratively to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children who live in Kent.

The Systems Performance Analyst will be required to lead on the analysis of data from a range of areas to facilitate the safeguarding of children and will be able to identify trends and patterns to help agencies work together to continuously improve and develop. The Analyst will work to deliver the Partnership’s Scrutiny and Assurance Framework and to forge effective working relationships with key staff from the analytical functions in safeguarding partner agencies.

We are looking for a dynamic and confident individual who is self-motivated and has experience of working in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to identify emergent risks and issues and to proactively present options for mitigation using a variety of analytical techniques. They will also be able to undertake critical analysis of complex and varied data sets under time pressures and be able to devise creative solutions to solve problems.

You will be able to work collaboratively as part of the wider Partnership Team, providing advice and being the expert point of contact for analysis. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as they will be working in partnership with professionals in and external to KCC.

You will have a good understanding of the safeguarding system and knowledge of the standards and ethics in research and evaluation.

You must have a relevant professional qualification or comparable professional experience.
