Kent Enablement Recovery Service Worker
Kent Enablement and Recovery Service (KERS) Tunbridge Wells Team works with people experiencing mental health difficulties to address social care needs and achieve positive outcomes over a short period of time (up to 12 weeks) through a process of enablement. The service aims to support people to maximise their wellbeing and quality of life in a way that suits them.
As part of a dynamic team you will work in partnership with people referred to the service utilising a person-centred approach, to agree, plan, deliver and review enablement plans, focused on meeting identified social care needs.
An awareness of mental health needs and how they impact individuals is essential as is knowledge of how to access local community services and resources as well as being able to offer practical advice to service users in liaising with official agencies.
You will need to demonstrate good written, computer and numeracy skills to be able to assist in completing records and reports as required for the role.
It is essential to hold or being willing to undertake, a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is also a requirement of the role. The role includes some remote working and working from home so you will need the ability to work autonomously without regular daily access to an office base.
