Kent Country Parks Business Support Apprentice

Role Responsibility

A Kent County Council Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to earn a salary and gain a real qualification whilst gaining valuable workplace skills and experience.

An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term full-time Apprentice to join the Kent Country Parks Team on an 18 month placement period.

This is a great opportunity to gain an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Business and Administration whilst working for a large, diverse, rapidly changing organisation.

As part of the Kent Country Parks team, you will provide administrative support to meet the business needs of Country Parks, to assist in the smooth running of the service and take a proactive role in the day-to-day functioning.

The role is hybrid working from Invicta House Maidstone (your work base) with some home working and the opportunity to visit and work from the country parks. Equipment will be provided.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and keen to learn quickly. If this sounds like you, then we would encourage you to apply.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

Interviews will be held on the 2nd or 3rd December 2024. Successful candidates will be invited to book an interview slot.
