KSAS Assessment Officer
Role Responsibility
Kent County Council’s Local Welfare Provision Scheme, the Kent Support and Assistance Service (KSAS) is looking to recruit a full time Assessment Officer (KR6) to join a small but experienced team, providing both support and guidance to vulnerable residents of Kent who have found themselves in a crisis situation.
As an Assessment Officer you will work with a team of 6, guiding applicants through the assessment process, completing a series of checks and making criteria based decisions ensuring our most vulnerable residents are provided with the support they require.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- A high level of compassion and empathy towards applicants
- A passion for providing excellent customer service
- That you are a team player
- That you can work autonomously
- Diligence for recording information
- An ability to work at pace.
You will need to be a competent Microsoft officer user as well as have experience with different types of assessment tools.
