Do you have outstanding accuracy skills, coupled with the energy to work in a fast paced busy role?  Do you enjoy building strong relationships with partner organisations, and do you want to work in a challenging, but extremely rewarding environment, helping to prevent fly tipping and other environmental crime in Kent?  If you do, we want to hear from you as we have a unique opportunity available for a dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic Intelligence Analyst to join our Intelligence Team.

This is a busy role, and you will be solely responsible for providing a full range of intelligence services to 12 District Council enforcement teams in Kent.  You will be working within a specialist high -performing team, and you will be expected to lead by example, prioritise and process the tasks in a timely and, most importantly, accurate manner.

You will be the single point of contact for all District/Borough enforcement teams, and other partners.  You will be responsible for implementing an ‘intelligence first’ culture and for providing expert advice and information, sharing best practice and tools to add measurable success to enforcement actions and investigations.

You will have a sound understanding of intelligence led working, and experience of presenting recommendations.  Experience of utilising intelligence, either in an analyst or enforcement capacity, is essential.  You will be computer literate and have strong experience of using databases; inputting and extracting information from a variety of sources.  Excellent written and verbal skills are critical to this role.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.
