Infrastructure Systems Development Lead

Role Responsibility

Are you passionate about driving digital transformation and system innovation?  Kent County Council is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Infrastructure Systems Development Lead to be the driving force for the development and optimisation of our business systems across the Infrastructure Division.

This is a strategic role that will shape how we manage data, automate processes, and integrate technology to improve service delivery and estate performance. The successful applicant to this position will manage a small team of colleagues, and work closely with internal teams, external partners, and technology providers to ensure our systems are future-proofed, efficient, and aligned with organisational goals.

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar public sector or corporate environment with particular emphasis on customer service and partnership working, can demonstrate skills in identifying and analysing business issues, developing processes, stakeholder management, and training others in the use of IT systems.

This is a unique opportunity to lead transformative change in one of the Council’s most critical service areas. You’ll be part of a collaborative team committed to innovation, service excellence, and making a tangible impact on Kent’s infrastructure.
