Infrastructure Expenditure Lead
Role Responsibility
We're looking for a financial professional with strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and data interpretation abilities, who's ready for a new challenge. The Infrastructure division seeks an Expenditure Lead to oversee our budget management processes, including monitoring and reporting on expenditure performance and management of the team of Expenditure Officers and Assistants.
You'll work collaboratively with teams across Infrastructure, KCC Corporate Finance, procurement, suppliers, and customers to align information and support decision-making. Ensuring compliance with KCC financial regulations and identifying efficiency opportunities will be key parts of your role, as well as advising budget managers.
This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to the budget management of the Infrastructure division and the KCC Property estate. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 4 qualification in a relevant field or have equivalent experience, a certificate in Advanced Excel, and experience in public sector financial management and engaging with senior management.

The team operate a hybrid work model that includes a mix of working from home and working from Invicta House in Maidstone.
