Information Access Officer

Role Responsibility

We are looking for a motivated individual to join KCC's Information Resilience & Transparency Team which manages and coordinates formal requests for information.

Knowledge and practical application of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Environmental Information Regulations 2004, General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018 is essential.

You should be familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook), and have an excellent level of literacy as you will be required to communicate with members of the public, drafting replies to requests and complaints on a variety of subjects. You should be able to prioritise and organise a busy workload to ensure KCC meets statutory deadlines and corporate timescales.

If you have experience working in a busy customer facing department, a positive attitude and are not intimidated by large volumes of work, then we would encourage you to apply!
