Improvement Adviser - The Education People - Fixed Term

Role Responsibility

Improvement Adviser – Primary - Fixed term for 2 years

This is an exciting career opportunity for a forward-thinking, inspirational school leader or adviser to join our innovative, primary school improvement team to influence and shape primary education in Kent and beyond.  In collaboration with advisers, headteachers and teachers across Kent you will improve the learning, wellbeing and life chances for all children. 

You will have significant senior leadership experience as a senior leader or adviser and a deep understanding of primary improvement strategies. A secure understanding of the Education Inspection Framework is essential.  In addition, you will have a broad understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.  You will have a proven track record of leading improvements within your current educational role and of supporting a number of schools.

Advisers have a countywide role based on their experience, knowledge and expertise.  We are particularly keen to hear from you if you have a deep passion and understanding of how to support vulnerable pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and who are disadvantaged.  Other areas of expertise will also be considered.

The successful candidate will have the skills and motivation to design and deliver training and develop resources and carry out commissioned work to support the development and improvement of schools.

The Education People is a one-stop shop for education services and is based in Kent.     Our advisers support schools to improve learning, wellbeing and children’s development across the full age range from early years to young adults.

Salary £61,613 - £65,000 dependent on experience.

Full time (term time or part-time working would be considered, salary pro rata accordingly).
