Improvement Adviser - Primary

Role Responsibility

Primary School Improvement: The Education People

We are seeking to recruit an experienced headteacher, Ofsted inspector or school improvement adviser, to join our school improvement team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record:

  • As a headteacher, executive headteacher, Ofsted inspector or school adviser.
  • Of leading improvements within your current educational role and experience supporting a number of schools.
  • Of using the Education inspection framework to bring about improvements. Experience working as an Ofsted inspector is desirable.
  • Of excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Of working independently with an eye for detail.

As part of our improvement team you will:

  • Work alongside highly motivated and professional individuals, committed to the ongoing improvement of provision in schools.
  • Play a significant role in supporting schools as their named Improvement Adviser as well as school-based consultancy support both within Kent and beyond.
  • Build on your skills and interests to further develop our training and support for schools.
  • Have the opportunity to work with a variety of schools and school leaders.
  • Make a difference to the life chances of children and young people across Kent and beyond.
  • On occasion, work more intensively with schools to ensure rapid improvement as a consultant leader.

Substantive posts:

  1. Permanent Full Time (Term Time Only negotiable)
  2. Part Time post 0.8 Term time only
