Health and Safety Business Operations Manager
Role Responsibility
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Operations Manager to join our Health and Safety Team.
Following the promotion of the current post holder, this managerial position in our busy, varied and solution focussed health and safety team has become vacant.
The team provides professional advice and guidance on health, safety, and welfare issues across the Council, safeguarding our employees and others who could be affected by KCC activities.
The job role closely supports the Head of Health and Safety by managing projects and co-ordinating team activity to provide an effective service to all our frontline operations.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of organising health and safety arrangements and establishing and implementing policy in a multi-faceted environment. You will have health and safety technical knowledge to diploma level 5 or equivalent, proven, on the job experience and, importantly, be confident in project and people management. You must be able to travel around a wide geographic area in a timely and flexible manner as required for site visits.
