Health & Wellbeing Officer

Role Responsibility

Fixed Term - Up until 31 March 2027

We are seeking someone with the expertise and drive to work with the Active Partnership to engage health partners and stakeholders with our vision of getting “more people, more active, more often”. 

This is a new role and provides an exciting opportunity to make a difference within the health and sport & physical activity sectors across Kent and Medway.

The Health & Wellbeing Officer will be working alongside and supported by the Active Partnership Manager (Health) to advocate for, and support development of, physical activity opportunities in Kent & Medway where the need is greatest.

The role is wide ranging and will include working with Public Health and social care partners to support increases in physical activity in disadvantaged communities and for older people, contributing to reducing health inequalities.

Interviews will take place 11th / 12th July 2022
