This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled professional to lead Kent’s Public Health Intelligence function. Reporting to the Chief Analyst and Director of Public Health, you will take the lead on working with the Public Health Consultant team to develop and embed analytics across the Public Health function, and to ensure effective prioritisation and strategic alignment of analytic work. 

This post is ideal for an established and accomplished analytical professional who wants to use their skills to ensure that public health intelligence is highly influential in terms of strategic decision making.  You will lead a team of Public Health Analysts to support the Director of Public Health across the intelligence piece including the development of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA), the Annual Public Health Report and work strategically across the health and care system to develop a population health management perspective.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.
