Role Responsibility

HR & OD Business Partners 

We are looking for two exceptional and highly skilled HR & OD professionals to join our team as the strategic business partners between HR & OD and our Directorates.

You will work proactively in partnership with the Directorate Management Team and relevant stakeholders to develop forward looking directorate focused strategies and plans which ensure through people effective service delivery, continuous business development and transformation in line with KCC’s strategic outcomes.

You will need to have substantial professional experience and proven capability in the field, as well as holding a relevant CIPD qualification or equivalent. You will also need to demonstrate the experience and ability to lead and manage your work as a strategic advisor for the organisations People Strategy. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Directorate specific people focused projects and programmes in collaboration with senior colleagues
  • Maintain an active role as trusted advisor to the Directorate Management Team and ensure a consistent approach to people strategy priorities
  • Provide challenging, tailored and business focused advice at a strategic level
  • As part of the People Management Team, contributing to the overall management and development of the HR & OD function.
