Role Responsibility
HR Business Adviser – temporary for up to a year
This is a challenging and exciting career opportunity within the HR Team, supporting and enabling our service managers to achieve their business outcomes with competence and confidence.
As an HR Advisor, you will be confident in operating in an advisory capacity and be able to build and maintain positive relationships with individuals at all levels of the organisation to deliver business focused solutions.
You will provide expert advice to managers on performance and capability matters, grievances and disciplinaries in a way that is responsive to the changing needs of the organisation and support a variety of project types across the HR and OD spectrum
Working as part of a collaborative, supportive and customer focused team, you will be interpreting employment legislation and internal policies and procedures to be able to advise managers.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
