Financial Hardship Programme Officer
Role Responsibility
We are looking for a candidate to fill the role of Programme Officer to join our collaborative, supportive, customer-focused Financial Hardship Programme within Strategy, Policy, Relationships & Corporate Assurance (SPRCA).
The role is to be based at Invicta House, Maidstone. However, as a programme our team is currently working flexibly; primarily working from home with occasional visits to the office.
This is a newly created and high-profile role which supports the Financial Hardship Programme Manager and relevant Project Managers. The role will be to provide programme management support, working closely with the team on reporting, risk management and delivery of projects (including Household Support Fund).
You will be building trusted, supportive and effective working relationships with the programme team as well as key partners and stakeholders (internal and external).
You will be innovative and creative about ways to modernise and streamline the way that the team works and to bring the programme to life through meaningful reporting.
The post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
This role is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 12 December 2022, although this may be subject to change.
