Family Hubs Project Officer

Role Responsibility

Kent County Council is looking to recruit a Family Hubs Project Officer for an 18-month contract role (full-time and hybrid working).

The purpose of the role is to work in the Children, Young People and Education (CYPE) directorate to support the Family Hub Programme Manager and Project Managers with the implementation of Kent’s Family Hubs programme.

Applicants will be experienced in supporting, monitoring and reviewing project development and delivery, being able to work in line with an established project methodology and approach. Applicants should possess a high level of organisational skills with the ability to work at pace, prioritising their workload to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, possesses excellent stakeholder management skills and can lead by example, as the postholder will be expected to lead on specific work packages within Family Hubs projects.

The Project Officer will be home based, with an element of office working from Invicta House in Maidstone.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
